What we keep about you

iOcean is run by [operator name], [address]. This page says what we collect when you use the iOcean website and app, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Your account. Your name, email address and the organisation you belong to. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and nothing else from your Google account.
• What you make. Places, vehicles, controllers and missions you upload or build, and the dives you run, with their recordings.
• Service records. When you signed in, what you ran and on which version, kept so a result can be traced and so we can find faults.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Why

To run your account and your dives, to keep the service secure, and to answer you when you write to us.

Where it is kept

On servers we operate. Email for account verification and password reset is sent through [email provider].

How long

For as long as your account is open. When you close it we delete your account and your organisation's data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [contact email].

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
